OpenClaw

OpenClaw Agent is the runtime. It can take a prompt or stay in trench mode.

The runtime

OpenClaw Agent is the runtime. It is the part of Agentra that can keep going. A tape can be read and a vault can sit still. The runtime is what turns a read into a cycle: think, buy, sell, rest, and think again. Without that loop the desk would be a dashboard of yesterday.

The runtime is powered as a product, not pasted on as a logo. The homepage says OpenClaw runs the loop, and the desk behaves that way. Prompt it for a single route, or leave trench mode on and let the agent work the book. Both are modes of the same runtime. They are described on their own pages, Prompt and Trench mode, because the choice changes what you are responsible for watching.

Two modes

Prompt mode is for one route. You want the last word on what the agent attempts, and you are willing to be present for that attempt. Trench mode is for the window. You want the loop to continue while names are still early, using the vault as the source of size.

You can switch. The desk is built so those are not two products. A prompted route and a trench cycle both end as buys and sells with contracts, and both land in the same activity list. The difference is who started the cycle, you with a prompt, or the runtime because trench mode was left on.

Policy

Policy is the rule the runtime is under while it works. On the desk that rule is visible as the mode you set. A prompt is a narrow policy: one route, then stop waiting for you. Trench mode is a standing policy: keep the loop on, keep reading, keep closing back into the vault.

The win rate across closed routes is held at 68 percent. That is a property of how closes are settled on this desk, so the figure you see does not drift into a vanity number. Policy does not hide a loss. Losses are part of the 32 percent that keeps the rate honest, and they are larger than wins, from 0.5 SOL through 1.1 SOL. Wins stay in the 0.1 to 0.4 SOL band. The runtime records both.

The loop

A full pass is about a minute. The cycle spends a short time thinking, while it asks for the latest pair. It then marks the phase as buying and writes a buy with the symbol and the contract. After the buy window it settles a sell, profit or loss, and updates the vault. The remainder of the minute is rest before the next pass.

You can watch that pass on the console. Thinking, then Bought with a contract, then Sold with a profit or a loss. The phase label near the agent follows the same states: standing by, thinking, buying, and in the book once the sell is written. If you only remember one sentence from this page, remember that OpenClaw is the thing that keeps those states moving.
